RAMEN | 蒙古タンメン中本

A rather interesting shop which is all the rage recently. Basically it is mapo tofu on top of a classic ramen that you will find in a typical Chinese restaurant in Japan, and in fact draw its roots from there. Marketed as ‘ultra spicy’ and probably make sense locally. Founder was kind of a macho guy and in fact boost a male only team of staff of the same character. Some said that’s the reason for it being named ‘Mongolian’ but am sure even Genghis Khan is still scratching his head. Probably a nice tourist attraction in Tokyo but don’t see a market in town for it.
