KUSHIAGE x SHOCHU | 秀殿 (Hidden)

From Omurice to Kushiage, it seems like nothing is impossible for Chef Suzuki-san from Osaka. Gone are the old Yoshoku styles (and the Omurice too) but the new deco certainly rivalled any upscale Kushiage shop found in Osaka. Indeed, this is not your usual ‘Shinsekai’ touristy stuff but instead one featuring only seasonal ingredients with every single skewer fried by order to perfection. The classic kisu was no doubt at its best and the seasonal limited order shirako certainly was the highlight of the night. The Shochu line up was also the best LG have ever seen in town with quite a few hidden gems spotted, all could be ordered by the glass. Opening till the wee hours and certainly a drinking hole among Japanese in the hospitality business after work, this bring CWB yet another step closer to a typical night spot in Japan. Highly recommended!
